Mrs. Wendy Crain-Lawson’s Business & Marketing Career and Technical Pathway classes hosted their very first Future Friday on Friday, August 21st at Menifee County High School!

Future Friday will be held each Friday throughout the school year, giving students the opportunity to hear directly from guest speakers about a variety of careers and career fields. Students will even have a voice in choosing the careers and topics they would like to explore!

Our first guest speaker was Menifee County Tourism Director, Carrie Lawson. Carrie shared insight into her career, the responsibilities of her job, and how she uses marketing to promote Menifee County as a tourism destination. Students learned how business and marketing skills are used in a real world career right here in our community!

Thank you to Carrie Lawson for taking the time to meet with our students and share your knowledge and experience. We are excited to continue Future Friday throughout the school year!

📚Attention Juniors!

The application for the 47th Annual Youth Salute program is available now! All juniors who maintained a 3.0+ GPA during their sophomore year are eligible to apply.

This is an excellent opportunity for juniors to display their achievements, leadership roles and future plans. If selected, they’ll be given the opportunity to have professional photos taken which are shown in Fayette Mall and a banner that’s displayed at MCHS next year.

All juniors who are eligible have been given papers or reached out to via email. If they have any questions, they may email [email protected]. All applications are due by September 25th!
