The 2025 Property Taxes went out last week. We have received many phone calls from individuals who applied for the Homestead Exemption last year, and it did not reflect on their tax bill. You qualify if you are 65 or older, or receive 100% disability.

During this past year, we got a new property software system. We have noticed that some of those exemptions did not carry over.

If you normally receive this discount and your bill is significantly higher this year, please give us a call, or come and see us! We apologize for any inconvenience.

Under the provisions of the Homestead Amendment, any person or persons 65 years of age or older or totally disabled, are entitle to a discount off of their residential assessment. A person must own, occupy and maintain a residential unit to qualify for this exemption.
