Laura Garcia for Calwa Park My name is Laura Garcia and I am a board member for the Calwa Recreation and Park District. Calwa isn’t just a park to me and my family.

Born & Raised in Calwa: I am the daughter of farmworker immigrants who came to this country looking for better opportunities and the 1st in my family to graduate from college. As a lifelong resident of Calwa, I understand our history and the value Calwa Park brings to our families in Southeast Fresno. I am asking for your support to represent you on the Calwa Recreation and Park District Board. My

professional experience working at Fresno City Hall, and degree from California State University, Fresno, provides me with the skills and support needed to help improve our Calwa Park community.
