When wildfire strikes, it mandates a rapid response—and the Guardian system makes that rapid response possible. Each Guardian unit can be assembled & filled in just minutes, and they can even be prefilled & placed in strategic locations ahead of extreme fire danger.

Guardians can be shipped and stored flat to optimize space, making preparation for wildfires simple. Further, properly stored Guardian units are guaranteed a shelf life of five years from the date of shipment, for long-lasting preparation.

As wildfires get worse worldwide, it is more important than ever to be equipped with the right tools for this now year-round fight. Adopting the Guardian System equips you with the necessary year-round capability to combat fires while enabling multi-mission air craft.

One key benefit of the Guardian System is how easy it is to implement. Some wildfire fighting systems on the market require extensive training or special equipment—not the Guardian. The Guardian uses standard Containerized Delivery System (CDS) procedures, a method that has been in use by many Air Forces for over 60 years. When the time comes to fight wildfires, Guardians can be assembled and filled in just minutes, then loaded onto any rear-loading aircraft, ready to deploy.

The Guardian is a containerized aerial fire fighting system (CAFFS) that enables any rear-loading cargo aircraft to join the fight against wildfires. Each Guardian box is armed with a super-duty liner that can hold up to 1000 liters of any firefighting payload. Because that payload never comes in contact with the aircraft, the Guardian eliminates the need for anticorrosive chemicals.

In 2024, Peru—who first adopted the Guardian system in 2019—stepped in to help Colombia by donating a portion of their Guardian stock to the country. Within the week, the Colombian Air Force received the Guardians from the Peruvian Air Force and used them to fight live fires. Later in the year, Peru was again able to provide Guardian CAFFS in emergency situations, this time to Bolivia and Ecuador. Wildfires can cross borders—but so can the Guardian.

Wildfires cross borders—but so does the Guardian. When wildfire spreads, it can affect any country, and year after year, wildfire resources are shared across countries. The Guardian System enables countries to readily provide humanitarian aid when wildfire strikes, thanks to the system’s compatibility with standard containerized delivery system (CDS) procedures and a vareity of aircraft.

Wildfires burn day & night, and to most effectively fight them, we need to attack 24-hours-a-day. Unlike other aerial wildfire fighting methods, the Guardian System can be safely deployed around the clock—even through the night. If wildfires don’t stop in the dark, neither should our fight against them.

Romania was an early adopter of the Guardian System, first testing it for use in 2014. Over the years, Romania has not only used the Guardian on their own soil, but they’ve also been able to provide aid in the form of Guardians to several other European nations in times of crisis. Romania’s fleet of C-27J Spartans—equipped with the Guardian System—has fought wildfires domestically and regionally.
