Important public transportation announcement! On October 5th, the Amtrak San Joaquins station located at 2650 Tulare St. in Fresno will reopen its lobby from 8:45AM-6:30PM, allowing passengers to buy tickets in person, check bags, and await their connections indoors. The Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation is collaborating with the City of Fresno to provide $2,000,000 in grants to small businesses in disadvantaged/underserved neighborhoods impacted by COVID-19. This program offers grants of $5,000 - $10,000 to small businesses in the City of Fresno. Businesses with 1-5 employees are eligible for $5,000 grants. Businesses with 6-25 employees are eligible for $10,000 grants. Applications will be accepted through September 22, 2020, at 11:59 PM

Fresno County, in partnership with the Fresno Economic Development Corporation and Access Plus Capital, is launching the Helping Underserved Business (HUB) Grant Program to provide grant awards to local small businesses that have been impacted by COVID-19 and related to Shelter-In-Place orders. Under the program, businesses could apply for up to $5,000 to support their business to pay employee salaries, rent, utilities or purchase essential supplies.

The online application process will open on Monday, May 18, 2020, and close on June 1, 2020, at 11:59pm
