Hope Now Street Food began in 2022 as means to give men a way to start working immediately after graduating our job training program. Sometimes graduates have to wait until a job is available to them, which can be disheartening and frustrating. But with our social enterprises men can get straight to work, even if waiting for a different job.

Hello! I’m Grecia, the Volunteer Coordinator here at Hope Now. My role involves recruiting volunteers to work alongside our staff in fulfilling our mission.
I focus on finding individuals who share our values and are willing to support the men who come through our doors. I’m particularly proud of the response from local business owners who partner with us through their generous donations for our events. Additionally, churches and individuals have graciously contributed their time and resources.

God’s plans often lead us to places we never expected, bringing hope and real second chances to those who need it most. ✨
I never saw my path leading to a ministry with ex-gang members and parolees. But stepping into this work has shown me the incredible joy that comes from obedience to God’s calling.
We see the transformative power of a fresh start every single day. By combining a Christ-centered approach with practical job readiness, we help young men leave the streets behind and step into a life of purpose.
It takes true mentoring and discipleship. Building long-term, caring relationships based on love changes everything for these men, their families, and our community. We get to pour into individuals who are ready to receive it, and it is an absolute privilege.

Sometimes, the exact place you’re meant to be is a complete surprise. My journey here started with a simple text message.
After completing my biblical counseling training, I heard about the vision to start a women’s program. I simply wanted to help out. When I received a text asking to talk about it, I thought we were just going to brainstorm.
Next thing I knew, I was walking into a job interview!
When I asked, “Why me?”, their answer truly touched my soul. They told me they could hear my heart for the Lord and how much I loved the women.
I wound up here because this is exactly where God wanted me to be. Sometimes we just want to offer a helping hand, and He opens an entirely new door. ~Jessica Lusk~

What an incredible night! Our 33rd Annual Banquet was a powerful evening filled with stories of redemption, restoration, and the amazing power of second chances.
We are so grateful for everyone who came out to support our mission. Witnessing our community come together to celebrate changed lives and share in the vision for a restored Fresno was truly inspiring.
