📱 Technology Training Workshop for Spanish-Speaking Families

Central Valley Regional Center, in partnership with the Ives Torres Foundation, is hosting an in-person Technology Training Workshop designed to help Spanish-speaking families feel more confident using everyday technology.

Participants will receive guided support with tools that can help them stay connected, including navigating email, accessing online resources, and using technology more effectively.

CVRC is hiring Service Coordinators!

We’re looking for compassionate, community-minded professionals to join our teams in Fresno, Merced, and Visalia. Service Coordinators help individuals with developmental disabilities and their families connect with essential services, resources, and support throughout the Central Valley.

Available opportunities:

Fresno
• Service Coordinator, Adults
• Service Coordinator, Children/Transition

Visalia
• Service Coordinator, Adults
• Service Coordinator, Transition

Merced
• Service Coordinator, Adults
• Service Coordinator, Children/Transition

We are especially interested in connecting with Hmong- and Spanish-speaking candidates, although additional language skills are not required.

Applicants with case management experience, direct support experience, or experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary: $29.63–$35.39 per hour
Benefits include: Health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, paid sick time and holidays, and loan-forgiveness eligibility

Gain more choice and control over your services through the Self-Determination Program. 💡

Central Valley Regional Center individuals and families are invited to a FREE in-person community workshop hosted by the Independent Facilitator Training Academy. Learn how the SDP works, explore person-centered planning, understand FMS models, and discover the role of an Independent Facilitator.

Each attendee will receive:
🎒 A free back-to-school backpack for Regional Center clients
📘 An SDP Starter Package
📚 A printed self-determination workbook

Workshops will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Merced, Porterville, Mariposa, and Mendota, with sessions available in English and Spanish.
