SECOND UPDATE: Resources and law enforcement are at the location—someone is needed onsite to encourage him to accept assistance, even if they are not the one who can directly provide temporary or permanent shelter. They need someone present that Shadow would trust—I’m stuck at work and he also hasn’t seen me in a long time, so I think it would be better if someone he knows better and trusts goes. I am still able to help and my backup can still help on a limited basis. Please let me know if you want to assist in going to the location to help encourage him to go to the support facility.

UPDATE: SHADOW HAS BEEN FOUND.
He is currently getting some onsight resources and assistance as we speak, but he will need a place to stay. The place I had lined up for him fell through unexpectedly for hardship reasons, so if any of his close friends or family have space, or you know any of them, PLEASE SHARE THIS POST with them or contact me directly if you can help. I know where he is and I can provide pickup details to anyone willing to step in to provide him a space while he’s getting assistive support. I will remain in contact with whomever this is to assist with ongoing support and resources.

Greetings everyone,
We are currently at a standstill on the search; we have pursued every sighting and number we’ve been given and have either not received callbacks or been able to track him at any disclosed location so far. We are not letting this discourage us—we know God has a plan for all involved, and we pray that members of the community continue to keep an eye out and send any information to law enforcement and/or us. We still believe a positive outcome is possible for Shadow, so let’s keep the search going as much as possible 🙏🏻

Update: we have a lead we’ll be investigating today, but we’d like to keep the location under wraps until further notice to protect the integrity of the search and increase our chances of finding him directly.

We are searching for Shadow Garza--- last estimated sighting was March 7th via Portrait of Hope Ministry's social media page--confirmed they haven't seen him since. He is an at-risk individual who's been diagnosed with Parkinson's and Bells Palsy, so it is critical he is found as soon as possible. He was last seen on the corner of Brawley & San Jose, and has been spotted at the Poverello House, but we and our other volunteers have yet to see him when we conduct drive-throughs.

This page is our public bulletin board for leads, so please feel free to post any tips or helpful information you have.

If you have seen Shadow or know where he might be, please contact either search organizer Lauren Baker, or Marcus De Jesus Martinez who will be the POC for the missing person's report.
