Happy September 1st!
We can't believe it is almost time for school to start back up.
If you have a moment, please take a look at our September Newsletter.
You will find new book titles that we just got in, information on an all ages drop-in craft, and we are starting a new book club for ages 10 and up!
Check it out!

Book Club for ages 10 and up. Our first meeting will be on Monday, September 14th at 4:00pm. You are invited if you are a super fan of the series or if you have never read a single Wings of Fire book, all are welcome!

Yesterday we celebrated the end of our 2026 Summer Reading Program with a party at the town park.
It was a busy but wonderful 8 weeks.
Thank you to everyone who participated this year.
For most of our staff, it was our first summer reading program so thank you to everyone who made it special!

If you didn't get a chance to fill out a summer reading survey, feel free to do so when you are in the library.
We appreciate any feedback you can give us.

We had a wonderful last day of outdoor storytime this morning!

Storytime will continue on Thursday mornings at the library next Thursday, at 10:00am. Storytime is great for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and their caregivers! Older siblings are always welcome to attend, too!

Thank you to the Frewsburg Central School District for letting us use the RHJ Gazebo again this summer! Many current and future Bears enjoyed meeting there each week and playing on the amazing playgrounds afterwards!

This is the last week of our 2026 Summer Reading Program!

Our drop in activity for the week is Dino Trivia. Fill out a Dino quiz to receive a Dino dollar.

Thursday 8/27 is the last day to spend those Dino dollars so come buy your prizes before they are gone!

Come celebrate the summer with us at the End of Summer Reading Party 8/27 6:30-8:30pm at the Town Park!
We will have yard games, kickball, pizza, baked goods and more!

We will also draw winners for the teen basket and adult basket so turn in those bingo sheets before the party!

If you used some Dino dollars for a chance to win the mega squishes, we will draw winners at the party and give out prizes to our top three readers of the summer!

The fun is not over yet!

We have had a good interest in starting a Mahjong group!! Lot’s of beginner and self taught players, so you will be learning together.
We came up with 2 different days/times that align with the majority of those interested, schedules.

B: Thurs. @ 5:30 PM

Edit: Ms Rachel forgot her rain hat - we will be inside at the library today at 10. Hopefully the sun will come out next week for our last summer reading storytime at the Gazebo.
