Our Ancestors are speaking, are you listening? Yeah, my Mom is speaking to me through the ether, through ancestors - saying “you didn’t get this far for nothing…get on with it.” (Plan BE is BEING fully Human).

Let’s get this right, friends. We only get one life. “Your energy is your currency.”

Somehow holding together…hope to see those on SJI this Saturday, 6/13, to celebrate Mom at the Grange with a sunny potluck brunch on the patio over the harbor, with flowers and love: 10-12pm. 🌸💕 FYI - the grief journey is a mixed bag of all emotions, so yes, lots of swear words of late with the tears, gratitude and joyful memories.

While diligently working on Plan “BE,” and protecting my peace - I did submit a comment to this for anyone interested. 😎. I still care, just moved towards positive project and consulting work off island.

UPDATE! I’m beginning 2026 with something that feels like a true evolution of my life’s work… A path I’ve been exploring for decades, a long quest for balance in how we think, create, and live together… in harmony with each other and the natural world. This has been the purpose behind my nature-based art, my book, and my work within corporate and organizational sectors through brand communications.

We are in a critical moment, one that calls us to lean into new possibilities for energy and infrastructure. A kind of “Plan B”… because there is no Planet B that can organically sustain us. So I’m stepping more fully into this intersection of natural creative thinking and organizational leadership.

I’m grateful to be attending next week’s ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit 2026, joining a global community working to shape the future of energy. For me, this feels like a culmination of years spent connecting the dots across business, public policy, and the arts, exploring how human systems can better align with the natural systems that sustain us.

I believe we find more balanced ways forward when we Pause, Reflect, and Respond, leaning into the messy, creative process of discovering solutions together.

I carry deep gratitude for the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, and for the many colleagues, collaborators, collectors, and friends who have shaped this journey. Your influence is part of this next chapter.

I’ll be there in my role as Consulting Director of Operations with EVOENERGY, Inc., through my creative studio, Natural Brand Studios, SPC, bringing together strategy, communication, and systems thinking with a creative, human-centered approach. EVOENERGY’s decades of work contribute to integrated energy solutions, bridging materials, infrastructure, and innovation across both distributed and large-scale systems, a natural alignment with scientists, thinkers, and visionaries working toward balanced solutions.

And yes… I’ll be bringing my full creative lens into the experience, because that’s where our next frontier begins. If you’ll be at ARPA-E, I’d love to connect. And to my community here, I invite you to follow along as I share reflections throughout the week.
