Join us at 6:00 p.m. tonight (Monday) as we celebrate our Sectional Track and Field Champions and all athletes who earned a place at the Sectional Championships. Come help us recognize their hard work, dedication, and outstanding accomplishments!

Watch for our athletes as they ride through town aboard a Scio Fire Department truck before arriving at the school. Following the event, they will travel to Friendship Central School, where they will also be recognized for their achievements. The athletes should be in Friendship around 6:30.

Why I Love Teaching:
I love the glow/smile that a student has when they get/put connections together about a concept.

Enjoy the younger years because it goes way too fast and before you know it, you’re an adult.

Hidden Talent / Favorite Hobby:
I enjoy pulling tractors, shooting trap, camping, and shopping. My hidden talent is my excellent organization!

I am named after a TV show from the 60's – “Petticoat Junction”

Last week's Secondary Choral and Band Concert was a wonderful showcase of the talent, dedication, and hard work of our students. Their performances reflected countless hours of practice and a true commitment to excellence.

A special thank you to Ms. Hulin and Mr. Garcia for their outstanding efforts in preparing our students for such a memorable evening. Their passion for music and dedication to our students were evident in every performance.

Congratulations to all of our student musicians and singers for putting on a fantastic show. We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and grateful for the joy you bring to our school community through music!

What a wonderful way to wrap up the year at Friendship Central School! Our final Spirit Assembly was filled with talent, inspiration, and heartfelt moments.
We were treated by two of our talented students who showcased their skills on the clarinet. What a beautiful celebration of the arts!
Ms. Tavernier led one last unforgettable lesson, reminding us all of the power of mindset with her message: “Change your thoughts, change your life.” Students actively participated by acting out how to maintain a positive mindset and embrace creativity, bringing energy, laughter, and meaningful reflection to the assembly.
We also proudly recognized our Eagle Wing winners Earl and Lucia for exemplifying respect, responsibility, and resilience. Congratulations on being such outstanding role models for our school community!
The highlight of the day was honoring Ms. Tavernier in what was her final Spirit Assembly before her retirement at the beginning of next year. She was celebrated with thoughtful gifts and heartfelt videos from students whose lives she has touched. Ms. Tavernier truly cares about every student, often sharing her love of music with her guitar and inspiring everyone to be their best selves.
Her impact on Friendship Central School is lasting, and while she will be greatly missed, her lessons and spirit will continue to live on in our school community.
Thank you, Ms. Tavernier, for everything you’ve given to our students and our school!

Yesterday afternoon, our elementary students had the unique opportunity to learn about the science and logistics behind hot air balloons during a special on-campus presentation! While windy weather conditions required part of the event to move indoors, students still enjoyed an engaging and educational experience exploring how hot air balloons operate.

A sincere thank you to Literacy West and RE/MAX for sponsoring this memorable event and helping bring hands-on learning opportunities to our students!
