Now is the time of year when wild Blue Lupine is in full bloom around our area. Although these flowers are temping to stop and pick for your sweetheart, resist the urge and enjoy the ambiance of the only plant the Federally Endangered Karner Blue Butterfly feeds on.

*FUN FACT* Adult Karner Blue Butterflies have a very short lifespan typically living only 5 to 7 days.*

Thank you all for another successful Tree & Shrub Sale! While we try to advance the Tree/Shrub sale each and every year, we would appreciate those who ordered in 2026 to take a moment to fill out this short 8 question survey on this years sale.

Those who wish to purchase trees in the future may also take the survey to give your input on what types of Trees/Shrubs you would like to see on the order form, as well as some BONUS conservation efforts!

This is a survey for those who have ordered trees with Adams County in the past and also for those interested in order trees/shrubs in the future. Attention Adams County Producers! We are pleased to announce that Wisconsin DATCP and Adams County Land and Water will be hosting a Nutrient Management Farmer Education Training this coming February 5th and 6th! Farmers interested in Nutrient Management can attend the 2 day training being held at the Adams Community Center where they will learn about Nutrient Management, SnapPlus, and how to develop a plan for their own farm! We will have people available to assist with the training as well

Nutrient Management Plans can help save on input costs. A 2012 Wisconsin study of 250 farms with Nutrient Management Plans showed that 69% of farms saved on average $18/acre, while reducing Nitrogen and Phosphorous inputs. Plus, by attending the course, you can receive stipends for soil tests, manure analysis, and attending the course! The numbers for stipends can be found in the attached flyer.

Sign up will be open up until the day before. Reserve your spot by using the QR code or our contact information in the flyer! If you need assistance in signing up, give us a call at 608-339-4268. We hope to see you there!
