Congratulations to our latest Hunter Safety Graduates!

These students successfully completed both the written and hands-on portions of the course, demonstrating their knowledge and commitment to being safe responsible, and ethical hunters. From firearm safety to wildlife conservation and ethical decision-making in the field, they've put in the work to do it right.
Remember, anyone born on or after January 1, 1973 is required to complete a hunter safety course before hunting.
From all of the instructors, great job to all the graduates-we're proud of you and wish you a safe and successful seasons ahead!

Treats Delivered to Sheriff's Office Staff

Yesterday Lydia Hutter, a Senior at Adams-Friendship High School TEMA Academy dropped off some treats. This was part of a "Pay it Forward" project and she chose to recognize the Sheriff's Office staff. Unfortunately we were not able to get a picture with Lydia as we were at our in-service training, but the cookies were very much appreciated!

Today, Sylvia treated our staff with some Girl Scout cookies. Sylvia was in town with her grandparents who stopped by to show their support to the Sheriff's Office as well. Sylvia had a short speech that she gave thanking the Sheriff's Office staff for their hard work. Sheriff York gave Sylvia a junior deputy badge for stopping by. All of the treats were very much appreciated!

Sheriff's Office Training at Adams-Friendship High School

Today Tuesday March 31 and Thursday April 2, the Adams County Sheriff's Office will be having our annual in-service training at the Adams-Friendship High School, while the school district is on spring break. There will be numerous squad cars at the school. This notice is to ensure the community is aware of this training event and that no one is alarmed due to seeing numerous squad cars at the A-F High School.

We would like to thank the Adams-Friendship School District for the opportunity to use the A-F High School for our training.
