🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE ADAMS COUNTY GOP 🚨

The Republican Party of Adams County has filed multiple formal challenges to the nomination papers of several candidates seeking reelection to the Adams County Board of Supervisors for the April 2026 Spring Election. County Party Chairman Peter Church submitted the filings today.
🔎 Primary Challenge Highlight:
• John West (District 14) – signatures collected after the circulator signed the certification page, a violation of WI Statute 8.07 and EL 2.05(15)(b). West has served as Chair of the Adams County Board since 2011, making the alleged deficiencies especially significant.
🔎 Additional Challenges Filed Against:
• Rocky Gilner (District 3) – signatures collected after circulator certification
• Mike Baker (District 19) – signatures collected after circulator certification
Further filings include:
• Larry Borud (District 4) – missing required mailing address
• Jerry Poehler (District 2) – missing required mailing address
• Marge Edwards (District 12) – missing mailing address, two signatures using only last‑name initials, and one improperly dated signature
All challenges have been formally received and will now proceed to review by the appropriate election authorities under state law.
