This week, Officer Carson Jacobs proudly presented a blue rose in memory of Sgt. James E. Dement, Jr. during the 2026 Annual Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony — a touching tribute to a fallen brother who will never be forgotten. We were also honored to stand alongside Mayor Mike Foreman as he presented a proclamation recognizing National Police Week and the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers everywhere.

A special thank you to Calvary Houston Church for showing their support and appreciation by hosting a wonderful luncheon for our officers and staff at the police department. Your kindness and encouragement mean more than words can express.

We are truly blessed to serve such an incredible community. Friendswood’s support for law enforcement is a reminder that we are never alone in our mission to protect and serve. Thank you for standing with us — not just this week, but every day. 💙
