Updated at 8:49pm on May 26, 2026- Water service has been restored, but more work may be needed on May 27, which may result in another service disruption.

Water service interruption- The water valve installed on the service line in support of the 101 West Main housing project on Friday, May 22, 2026 has failed, necessitating a water main shut down. This has caused an interruption in water service to residences at Ten Mile Island, Cross Creek, Creekside and Rivercrest Townhomes at approximately 1:00pm on Monday, May 26, 2026. Crews are onsite working diligently to pump water out to expose the valve and make repairs immediately. There is currently no estimated time for repair completion and restoration of water service. Updates will be provided at https://bit.ly/4nSPhHk

Community input needed: Your feedback will help shape water efficiency goals, programs, and investments for Breckenridge, Copper, Dillon, and Frisco, and will be shared with local decision-makers to inform real actions across the watershed region.

From snowpack to stream flows, water supports the natural environment and mountain lifestyle we all value in Summit County.

Right now, decisions are being made that will shape how water is managed and conserved across the Blue River Watershed area. Your input can directly influence those choices.

We’re asking residents, second homeowners, and local businesses to share feedback through a short survey.

Take the survey (10 minutes or less): www.surveymonkey.com/r/BRW2026
The survey will close at 5pm on June 12, 2026.

If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
