Grateful for the opportunity this week to get a sneak peek at the East Side renovations at Toyota Stadium!

I enjoyed joining Mayor Mark Hill, City Council, FCDC, fellow Frisco ISD Trustees, and city staff for a tour led by Dan Hunt with FC Dallas.

It’s exciting to see these thoughtful improvements taking shape — from the new entrance and video board to added shade, updated seating and signage, and a beautiful new club area. More importantly, it’s exciting to see another investment that will create a great experience for Frisco families and our community.

Grateful to the Frisco Chamber of Commerce for the invitation to attend its Government Relations Boot Camp with State Representative Karesa Richardson.

It was a great opportunity to hear a legislative update, learn more about the priorities ahead, and better understand the issues impacting Frisco and our community.

I always appreciate opportunities to listen, learn, and connect with leaders across our community so I can continue serving Frisco ISD well.

It was a pleasure to attend the 2026 State of the City Luncheon and hear from leaders about the incredible growth and opportunities ahead for Frisco.

Frisco continues to be a place where families want to live, businesses want to invest, and people want to build their future. From our strong schools and public safety to continued economic development and tourism, there is so much to be proud of.

As a Frisco ISD trustee, I’m grateful for opportunities like this to listen, learn, and stay connected to the broader community. Our city and school district are deeply connected, and working together is essential to keeping Frisco a great place to live, learn, work, and raise a family.

Thank you to the Frisco Chamber of Commerce for bringing our business and civic leaders together to celebrate where we are and look ahead to Frisco’s future! ♥️

It was such a pleasure spending time with our incredible Frisco ISD Council of PTAs leaders at the luncheon! 💙 💛

Our PTA volunteers are such an important part of our schools and community. They give countless hours supporting our students, teachers, and families, and their dedication makes a meaningful difference across our district.

I’m grateful for every opportunity to connect, listen, and work alongside so many people who care deeply about our students and schools.

📚 We kicked off the 2026–2027 school year this week with our first Frisco ISD Board of Trustees meeting — and there was plenty to celebrate!

⭐️ Frisco ISD is the largest school district in Texas to earn an “A” Accountability Rating! ⭐️

This achievement is a direct reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our incredible educators, staff, administrators, and campus teams across the district.

This was important to me and something I heard about often during the campaign, so I’m very happy to see this change. ♥️

Frisco ISD has standardized its retest policy across the district:

“Students who score below an 80 on a graded assignment will be able to reassess up to a maximum grade of 80. This change will be standardized across all grade levels, all courses and all campuses.”

Consistency matters. Same opportunity. Same advantage.

Giving students a consistent opportunity to reassess, learn from mistakes, and demonstrate mastery helps better prepare them for college, careers, and their future.
