It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Chief Deputy Wayne Rhodes from a COVID-19 related illness. Chief Deputy Rhodes passed away early this morning.

Chief Rhodes has been with Denton County since 1995 and with our office since 1998. He has served as the Chief Deputy for Precinct 2 since 2005. Our office will not be the same without him and we will miss him terribly.

We ask that you send your prayers to the Rhodes Family during this horrible time.
