Mayor Jeff Cheney and City Council welcomed everyone to our 2022 Frisco Freedom Fest presented by CoServ!

We kicked off the 'Party in the Plaza' with an opening ceremony featuring American Legion, Peter J Courcy Post 178, Frisco, TX and the Lebanon Trail High School Navy National Defense Cadet Corps.

The National Anthem was performed by Frisco's own Jesse Keep and the Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Mayor Pro Tem, John Keating

Thank you to our media hosts and sponsor for today's event, NBC DFW / Telemundo 39. Telemundo 39's Analía Fiestas serves as our host on the Community Stage this afternoon. and NBC 5's Maria Guerrero takes over hosting duties as the main stage heats up with our featured entertainment after 7 p.m.

Set up for Frisco Freedom Fest is underway at Simpson Plaza in Frisco Square. We can't wait to celebrate with you! Please note the section of Frisco Square Blvd. directly in front of City Hall/Frisco P***c is now closed through July 4. Additional closures start at 7 a.m. tomorrow, July 1. Event day closures will also impact the Frisco Square area on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4 - including post fireworks traffic routes.
