A big Rotary thank you to our recent guest speaker Jason Mengal, Championship Director of the Frisco PGA!
Jason gave us an excellent update on all the exciting things happening at the PGA Frisco, including recent successful tournaments and the incredible lineup of upcoming championship events that continue to put Frisco on the map as a premier golf destination. We loved hearing about the community impact and the world-class experiences being created right here in our backyard!

A huge shoutout and heartfelt thanks to Roxana and Dominique Iannarelli for joining us recently and sharing all about the amazing Rotary Youth Exchange Program! 🌍💫 This life-changing program gives high school students the opportunity to live and study abroad for a year with a host family, immersing themselves in a new culture while building lifelong friendships and global understanding. It's more than just travel — it's about developing leadership, empathy, and becoming true global citizens. So many of our past exchangers return as confident, world-wise young adults ready to make a positive impact. If you have a teen in your life who dreams of adventure and personal growth, this is the program for them!

What an incredible first annual Community Fundraising Chili Fest at Rollertown Beerworks! Despite the less-than-ideal weather, the energy was fantastic, the chili was sizzling, and a great time was had by all!

A huge heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers, generous sponsors, and every participant who came out to support us. Your enthusiasm and generosity made this event a true success and helped us serve our community even better.

🌟 A huge THANK YOU to our very own Rotarian Stan Whittenberg from Scottish Rite for Children for being our inspiring guest speaker this week! 🙌
Stan shared valuable insights from Scottish Rite for Children, a world-renowned pediatric orthopedic hospital right here in North Texas. They specialize in treating complex orthopedic conditions in kids — like scoliosis, clubfoot, hand differences, hip disorders, sports injuries, and fractures — plus certain related neurological and learning disorders such as dyslexia. Their expert care helps children get back to running, jumping, and playing every day! 👟💪 What an incredible mission and impact on our community.

This fundraiser supports local scholarships and vital nonprofits in Frisco. Come for the chili, stay for the fun and fellowship! 🌶️🎸❤️

Lori inspired us with details about the first annual Rotary Peace Summit coming this fall (September 2026). This Conflict Resolution Conference is all about building unity, fostering dialogue, and creating meaningful understanding in Wylie and surrounding communities. It’s a space for face-to-face conversations that rise above division — bringing together business owners, city leaders, community members, and anyone who values respectful discourse and civic unity in action. 🕊️✨
