I had the pleasure of attending the Community Spotlight Luncheon today where Wakeland HS Assistant Principal Ms. Sully was honored. It’s wonderful to see a “behind the scenes” community member being recognized for their heart and service.
Treasured Vessels Foundation was the spotlight charity for today. It doesn’t matter how many time I hear Alicia Bush speak about the statistics of human trafficking—it still breaks me.
Rodney DeBaun, founder of The Nicklas Foundation, was recognized with The Legacy Award at the inaugural You Can Live Again...YCLA Gala!
Many thanks to Grand Prairie Police Chief Daniel Scesney for presenting the award to Rodney. Thanks as well goes to Rodney’s wife, Isibelle Trent DeBaun, and his best friend, Terry Hawkins and wife, Susie, for attending along with Amber AL Townsend with GPISD CTE and Suzana Delgado-Gray Executive Director of Grand Prairie Family YMCA. The support of our Grand Prairie community means a lot!
Thank you, SingerLady Diamond (aka Kertrina Dauway) for putting this inspiring event together to honor and celebrate so many wonderful people who are taking such strides in bettering our communities through various avenues.
What a wonderful thing that a portion of the proceeds is going to Treasured Vessels Foundation led by Alicia Bush.
Congratulations to all the amazing awardees on receiving well deserved recognition for their diverse and impactful contributions
This is our WHY. We are always striving to better serve our community! Therefore we exist to support and become an advocate for nonprofit organizations that are already making a difference through the power of music. We build live music programs into nonprofit events that feature artists of all genres and cultures while focusing on a greater cause.
Here you can listen to some of our nonprofit testimonials from the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County, Camp Craig Allen, BIND: Brain Injury Network of Dallas, and the Hope Clinic of McKinney!
This year we advocate for National Breast Cancer Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County, Camp Craig Allen, BIND: Brain Injury Network of Dallas, Treasured Vessels Foundation, Frisco Fastpacs, Heels on the Move to Heal, Taylor Hooton Foundation, Empowerment ChurchTx, TLT- Tomorrow's Leaders Today, Inc and Replenish School Supplies.

Artist Spotlight: April Sapp Music
Music brings April to life, it brings her closer to God and you can see it through her lyrics and voice. Her goal is to write songs that encourage those who have had it rough and are struggling, “She has been there too and sees you”. This is one of the many reasons she was the perfect fit for our music therapy program partnership with the Treasured Vessels FoundationWe are so thankful to have an artist like her on the MOH Team!
We thought her song, “Goodness of God” would be a great one to share with you all, so check it out! ✨
Treasured Vessels Foundation so glad you made it! Thanks for coming your ongoing partnership!

Melody of Hope is excited to announced our newest music therapy program with the Treasured Vessels Foundation! This is an exciting first for us and this program will be monumental in helping the women in the safe houses find an outlet to healing through music.
The program will consist of our artists Gabriella Stella & April Sapp Music teaching weekly lessons. The artists will be mentors and confidants to the girls helping them process everything they have gone through and channel that through the arts. We were also fortunate to be able to provide a piano and guitar to stock the practice room thanks to some amazing donors.
Community collaborations are exponential in the success of our music programs so thank you to Michael Simmons for being the first confirmed sponsor for this program and to the Texas Commission on the Arts for providing us with a grant to cover some of the costs!
