Tiny Tykes Basketball League

This introductory basketball league is for those boys and girls ages 5 and 6 years old by December 1, 2026.
Registration begins September 1, 2026, in person, at Warren County Community Center located at 538 Villa Ave, Front Royal VA 22630. *Proof of age is required at time of registration*

This league is open to boys and girls ages 7-14 years as of December 1, 2026. *Proof of age is required at the time of registration*

Boys League Age Breakdown (subject to change)
7-8 year olds
9-10 year olds
11-12 year olds
13-14 year olds

Girls League Age Breakdown (subject to change)
7-8 year olds
9-11 year olds
12-14 year olds

Skills Draft - There will be a skills draft held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the 15th Street Health & Human Services Complex Gym. This skills draft is not mandatory, but any child who does not attend will be blind drafted onto a team.

Please note that Warren County Parks & Recreation is not able to accommodate requests for a specific coach or team due to "ride sharing"
Siblings in the same household and age division will be placed on the same team unless otherwise instructed by their parent/legal guardian.

Warren County Parks & Recreation is hosting a Pickleball Tournament, and this one is about more than just competition. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the GROW Scholarship Fund, helping provide for underserved youth in Warren County.

Teams will begin with pool play, followed by a single-elimination tournament featuring the top two teams from each pool.

๐Ÿ† Cash prizes will be awarded to the top two teams, with prize amounts based on the number of teams registered.

Only one registration is needed per team, so please do not register both players separately.

Ready to trade the pavement for the river? Join Warren County Parks & Recreation for another round of Paddle the Shenandoah on the beautiful South Fork of the Shenandoah River!

Our September and October 2026 canoe trips are now open for registration. Each trip is guided by a certified boating instructor who will help participants learn safe paddling techniques, including how to enter and exit a canoe or kayak, paddle effectively, and handle common situations on the water.

The Splash Pad will be available for use during its normal daily operational hours- 12:00pm - 6:00pm!
The Splash Pad will close for the season after Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026.

Warren County Parks & Recreation is looking for donations of gaming equipment and comic books to help support upcoming recreation activities, clubs, and community programs.

We are currently looking for:

Video game consoles

Controllers

Games

Gaming accessories

Comic books and graphic novels

All gaming equipment must be in working condition.

Donations can be dropped off at the Warren County Community Center during regular operating hours.

If you have items at home that are no longer being used, consider giving them a second life with Parks & Recreation!
