As of May 30th an interim leadership team was appointed for the Warren County Republican Committee (WCRC) following the 6th District's decision to overturn the February convention election, a decision that was subsequently upheld by the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV).

The interim leadership team consists of Aiden Miller, Interim Chair, and Scott Lloyd, Interim Secretary. Since their appointment, they have been working with the 6th District to organize the Party Caucus.

At this time, an Interim Treasurer has not been appointed because the WCRC bank account remains under the control of the prior leadership. Additionally, the interim leadership team has not been granted access to the secretary email account posted on our website, or the website itself, and is therefore unable to receive or respond to emails sent to that address.

We also want to acknowledge those who paid membership dues prior to February's mass meeting who were ultimately unable to become members. We sincerely apologize for this situation. Unfortunately, because the interim leadership does not have access to the committee's financial accounts or records, we are unable to process refunds at this time. We are hopeful that this matter can be resolved promptly once a new chair is elected and a smooth leadership transition is completed.

At Monday night's meeting, the Warren County Republican Committee proudly endorsed Mayor Lori Cockrell for re-election as mayor, as well as 3 strong anti-data center candidates for re-election to Front Royal Town Council: Vice Mayor Amber Veitenthal, Councilman Josh Ingram, and Councilman Bruce Rappaport.
