A special congratulations to all of the Frontenac Raider athletes who qualified for their state tournaments. Baseball, Softball, Boys Golf, and Track and Field all had RAIDERS representing Frontenac. Thank you for a great season, and thank you to our coaches for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to our student-athletes throughout the year.

Saturday – KSHSAA State Track & Field Recap

• Reece Franklin was crowned Class 3A State Champion in the High Jump, becoming a two-time state champion.
• Emerson Albright placed 6th in the Class 3A 1600-meter run.
• Emerson Albright also earned a 5th-place finish in the Class 3A 800-meter run.
• The Frontenac girls 4x800-meter relay team of Abby Albright, Emerson Albright, Nora Anderson, and Cera Schenck placed 5th and broke the school record.
• The Frontenac girls team finished 5th overall with 31 points.

Congratulations to all of these athletes on their outstanding performances at the KSHSAA State Track & Field Championships in Wichita and for representing Frontenac with pride.

Friday Day 1 – KSHSAA State Track & Field Recap

Emerson Albright placed 4th in the Class 3A 3200-meter run.
Reece Franklin placed 4th in the Class 3A Triple Jump.
Ethan Merrick placed 8th in the Class 3A Discus.
Ethan Merrick also earned a 5th-place finish in the Class 3A Shot Put.

Congratulations to these athletes on earning medals and points for Frontenac at the KSHSAA State Track & Field Championships in Wichita.
