Although swimming and splashing in the Frostburg Pool might be a little difficult right now, it’s perfect for floating and enjoying a little sunshine. Sure, the water might be a little cold, but isn’t it always? As the kids at the pool like to say, "If it's too cold, you're too old." Or, you just have an aversion to shivering uncontrollably, your lips turning blue, and the other typical signs/symptoms of hypothermia.
As we’re waiting not so patiently for the Frostburg Pool to open, we just wanted to let you know opening day is exactly 3 months away on Saturday, May 23rd! That assumes the weather cooperates, of course.
Just an fyi, it’s easier to stay warm if you can keep your butt off the ice when you’re floating. A nice layer of winter fat helps too. 😉👍
