This week, children and teens enjoyed Robotics Club, read with Tosa the PAWs therapy dog, and searched the library for hidden aliens. We loved seeing so many smiling faces and curious minds!

Be sure to stop by next week as we plant a seed of fantasy! Join us as we journey to Hogwarts for our Harry Potter event on Tuesday at 2:30 PM, then head off to Neverland with Peter Pan on Thursday at 2:30 PM. We can't wait to see you there!

We had a wonderful time at Spray & Play Firetruck Day today! A huge thank you to Station 56 for bringing over the firetruck, teaching the children about firefighting, and cooling everyone off with the water hose on a hot summer day!

We would also like to thank the Leesburg Humane Society for joining us and bringing some of the sweetest pups for our families to meet.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made today's event such a fun and memorable experience.

Tomorrow is Firetruck Day at the Fruitland Park Library!

We are so excited to welcome the Fruitland Park Fire Department for a morning of fun, learning, and water-filled activities! Be sure to wear clothes and shoes that you're okay with getting wet. We will also have popsicles to help everyone cool off.

We're thrilled to have the Leesburg Humane Society joining us with some adoptable pups looking for their forever homes.

Bring your friends, bring your family, and get ready for a splashing good time! 🚒💧🐾

Our first Summer Reading event was a success!

A wonderful time was had at our Jack and the Beanstalk Story-Time. We all enjoyed watching the classic fairy tale come to life through a fun reenactment, followed by a special story read by Ms. Lake County Florida that shared the giant's perspective of the tale. Children also loved planting their own magic beans to take home and grow.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we can't wait to see you at our next Summer Reading event! 🌱📚✨

The Lake County Board of County Commissioners invites the public to participate in the planting of a Liberty Tree at the Fruitland Park Library. Our livestream is now up on Facebook and YouTube, and the event will begin in 5 minutes. ✨🌲

The first Liberty Tree was planted in Boston in 1765. There, a large elm tree served as a gathering place for Stamp Act protesters. Other liberty trees soon sprang up, and patriots often gathered beneath their branches to seek wisdom and support. As these trees came to symbolize American liberty, the liberty trees in Lake County serve as a reminder of our Founding Fathers and an inspiration to future generations who will gather in their shade. 🌳👥

See you soon!
