Hello everyone, We have so much going on at the library, but what is most important right now is that the construction of the new Police and Fire Department has begun. Most of the library's parking lot is closed off by construction fencing. We do have overflow parking! Thanks goes to Heritage Church our neighbors across the street from us. Parking is available directly across from us in the church's parking lot in the grassy area. Please do not hesitate to park there. Please be careful when crossing the street.

Happy New Year! We wish everyone a happy and healthy 2024! A couple of things are coming up at the library that I want to let everyone know about. We have a paranormal ghost walk coming up on Friday, January 19th at 6:00 pm. We're going to meet at the old library, the new Gardenia Center at 205 W. Berckman Street, at 6:00 pm. Elise VanCise and her paranormal team will be conducting a "hunt" using equipment that may help in finding out who is still around in that old library. Afterwards, its on to the new library to see what's hanging around here. Please sign-up for this event. Space is limited. Call Liam at 352-360-6561. Also, on the 26th we're having an adult program "Tiny Art Show." Get in touch with your creative side and drop in any time between 2:00-4:00 pm.
