At the 5th Annual Pride Fest Fullerton…
A big thanks to the pride committee and the Fullerton Museum Center for hosting such an amazing event, and to the volunteers, performers, vendors, sponsors, and to city staff for making this possible. Shout out to Chiefs Radus and Loeser for joining the parade and for their support. Pride is a celebration of love and visibility, but it’s also a commitment to freedom, equality and justice for all.

Honored to join the City of Buena Park in recognizing Harvey Milk Day and accepting the declaration on behalf of the LGBTQ community.

Harvey Milk’s message of hope continues to inspire generations, especially at a time when LGBTQ people continue to face growing hate and discrimination across the country.

Thank you to Buena Park and the entire city council for their solidarity and commitment to equality and dignity for all.

A special thanks to Mayor Connor Traut for his unwavering support and for inviting me to be part of this meaningful moment.

This morning, OCFA shared that tank temperatures continue decreasing and pressure levels have dropped, and they now believe the threat of a BLEVE has been eliminated.

I will be attending another briefing at the command center this morning and will continue keeping the community updated with the latest verified information as we receive it.

Update from our neighbor…

10 a.m., Saturday: The Garden Grove chemical incident is ongoing this morning.

Firefighters and hazmat specialists continue to work the incident.

Incident managers are exploring all options to diffuse the issue, with a risk of explosion still possible.

There continues to be no significant chemical release in the air.

Evacuations in Anaheim and neighboring cities remain in place. Continue to follow us and other sources for ongoing updates.

At this time, evacuation zones are unchanged with no expansion.

We’re sharing call center numbers for the county of Orange, Garden Grove and a call center for Anaheim residents and Anaheim-specific questions.

Know that call centers are seeing a high volume of calls.
