Reasons To Believe (RTB), a Christian ministry founded by Hugh and Kathy Ross in 1986, is dedicated to engaging skeptics and equipping believers with powerful new reasons to believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Creator. RTB’s growing team consists of scholars––astronomer Hugh Ross, biochemist Fazale Rana, astrophysicist Jeff Zweerink, and philosopher/theologian Kenneth Samples––and more than 25 s
upport staff members. Together they produce a vast array of resources including articles, blogs, books, DVDs, and podcasts. RTB scholars also speak at churches, university campuses, debates, and Skeptic Forums. With its Mediterranean climate, Orange County exemplifies the Southern California lifestyle. As a tourist hub, Orange County is famous for its attractions, including Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, 40 miles of coastline, and major business and shopping centers. RTB’s Orange County Chapter exists to connect the ministry with Orange County and Southern California. Our goal is to make use of RTB resources to equip our members for outreach in their local communities and churches. We emphasize the integration of science and faith and how the latest scientific discoveries provide evidence for the truth of God’s Word in the Bible. The chapter meets from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on the second Saturday of every month. Come join us for a time of relaxed fellowship and spiritual growth.
