Early Morning Weather Update – Fort Bend County

Rain is moving across portions of Southeast Texas this morning, with scattered moderate to heavy showers impacting areas near and around Fort Bend County. Drivers heading out early should plan for a wet commute with reduced visibility and ponding on roadways possible in heavier downpours.

⚠️ Morning Commute Tips:
• Slow down and allow extra travel time
• Use headlights in rainy conditions
• Watch for slick roads and ponding water
• Never drive through flooded roadways

Showers and thunderstorms will continue moving through the area this morning, so keep an eye on changing weather conditions before heading out.

Stay weather aware
