We have been documenting the activity at Sharp's Pond but have not been posting the activity.
Time to cut down a bunch of trees and open this area up. Makes it kind of hard to do this again and also leaves open space for people to see any undesirable activity that can be reported.
It is also time for a land management plan and with the new parks and recreation director; some oversight!

For those that seem to have forgotten there are two invasive species in what is left of the pond. When you all keep messing around with things down there you risk releasing invasive species further down Waterhouse Creek and the Oswego River. Let us try to be conscious of environmental concerns please and thank you! If you see anything suspicious please contact the DEC 315 426-7431 or law enforcement 911 or the nonemergency number 314 343-1313. Let us all do out part to protect the environment and waterways.

Been working on the history and we have been trying to determine

1. when the playground equipment was removed from this site. We are wondering can anyone answer this.
2. What year and date that the name changed from Sharps Mill Pond Ice to Sharps Pond Ice.

It was nice to meet a few local residents today at the pond that would like to the pond restored and a recreational area for their children to enjoy.
