Itawamba County Pratt Memorial Library The Itawamba County Pratt Memorial Library is a public library for the citizens in and around Itawamba.

The library is a part of the Lee-Itawamba Library System. The library updates materials regularly to serve the community best. In addition to books, the library has audiobooks, EBooks, DVDs, newspapers, and subscriptions to online databases such as Magnolia for patrons to use. Also, the library has a number of computers that may be used by patrons of the library free of charge. In addition, the li

brary has a Mississippi room where Mississippi authors are spotlighted and patrons can look into their family's genealogy with the census records and family histories that are housed there. Besides providing these services, the library also sponsors and/or houses several community events. We have Children's Story Time every Tuesday at 4:00 PM, STEM Exploration Days on the First and Third Monday of each month, Lunching with Books on the last Friday of Select Months, a wonderful Summer Reading Program with fun events, and more. Hey, Everyone! Happy Monday! We will not be having Storytime today, as we are getting a short rest up from the summer. Join us this Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, here at the library, as we host local author Lynette Stephenson for a Book Signing/Meet and Greet event. She will have copies of her debut Finding the Merry Widow Inside Me and her-brand new book Lazy Sunbathing and Wildflower Tea. We would love for you to join us!

☀️📚 What a wonderful summer we've had here at the library!

As students head back to school today, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate and share some of the incredible numbers from our 2026 Summer Reading Program.

This summer, our library was filled with readers, learners, explorers, and families making memories together. From exciting educational programs and hands-on activities to books, digital resources, and special events, it was a season full of discovery and fun.

None of this would have been possible without our amazing participants, dedicated staff, generous sponsors, volunteers, presenters, and community partners. Thank you for helping make this one of our most successful summers ever!
