🔦 Power Outages Possible 🔦
Strong winds are expected this afternoon and evening as a part of the incoming storms, which means power outages are possible. Here are some tips to be ready if power outages happen.

Remember if you see any downed lines, assume they have electricity running through them. Stay away and call 9-1-1. And remember to report any power outages to National Grid.

⛈️ Severe Weather Possible Thursday Afternoon/Evening ⛈️
Severe weather is expected this afternoon into this evening, with the greatest impacts during the evening hours (between 4:00 and 9:00 PM)

Strong thunderstorms may bring damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, frequent lightning, and the potential for large hail and/or an isolated tornado.

These conditions could lead to downed trees and power lines, scattered power outages, and hazardous travel due to reduced visibility and wet roads.

Pay attention to local forecasts and media for updates, and make sure you have multiple ways of receiving weather alerts if they are issued by the National Weather Service.
