The Fulton Police Department serves and protects the citizens and visitors of the City of Fulton. The City of Fulton was founded in 1835 and is located on the Mississippi River across from Clinton Iowa. Fulton was a transfer and warehouse port between the upper and the lower reaches of the Mississippi River. Fulton is a city most known for its pride in its Dutch heritage. This is reflected in one
of our main tourist attractions a traditional Dutch windmill, "De Immigrant" located near the city's d**e next to our business district. Our agency employs up to 9 full-time, sworn police officers and 1 civilian/non-sworn employee offering 24/7 police protection. The Department handles approximately 5,000 calls for service annually and has integrated in-car computers. This site is not monitored 24 hours a day and it is not a place to report a crime.
