It has been a long campaign but the last day has arrived. I have enjoyed meeting the residents of Jefferson County as I traveled to many local events. I will honestly say that the people I have met are genuinely concerned for their communities and their country. We all want safe communities, great schools and gainful employment. I believe in giving back to the community - that's why I am seeking the office of Jefferson County Circuit Judge. Your concerns are my concerns: primarily, to protect against crime and to ensure fairness to all parties when dealing with the court.

While practicing law for over 10 years, I've realized how my actions and decisions have influenced my clients' lives. I would like to make a greater impact and this is the next step toward achieving that goal.

I am open-minded, yet willing and able to reach a decision; confident, yet not so self-centered as to not learn from others; and even-tempered, yet can be firm when necessary. I have the judicial temperament to deal with people calmly and courteously and will be willing to hear and consider the views of all sides of a case.

Thank you Judge Julie Ann Palmer for the invitation to attend the 2016 Guardians Luncheon in Homewood. This event supports the Homewood Police Foundation which was created to offer Homewood residents the chance to join with officers who serve and protect their community. The Homewood Police Department is committed to foster relationships between the police department and the corporate and private citizens they serve. The guest speaker was Rick Burgess of the Rick and Bubba Show. I have never had the opportunity to hear Mr. Burgess speak at a live event. He is a great speaker and great man of God.

To all my friends working in the school system, I have been actively involved in the education system for years. With the shortage of school bus drivers I decided three years ago to take the bus drivers test. I have substituted as a bus driver, driven field trips and taken athletic teams to their sporting events all across the county. My wife, Kelly, is an employee of the education system. We both have a passion to help ensure children in the county receive a great education. I am asking for your support. If you are a teacher, bus driver, lunchroom worker, office employee or volunteer please let your friends and family know I am asking for YOUR VOTE! I enjoyed listening to the Jackson-Olin Band Sunday at the " # Think 10 Seconds Youth Summit". This is a great initiative to promote children to think instead of reacting with force. Special thanks to "The Vision Ministries" for hosting this event. I am amazed at how many songs the band played. I remember being in the band and knowing maybe four songs. They played for almost an hour straight.

Friends, I am seeking election for Criminal Circuit Court Judge, Place 14. I believe the best judges are the most courteous judges. You can make hard decisions with dignity and respect to all of those involved in a criminal case. In every courtroom there needs to be a positive working environment to help foster a resolution for pending cases. This professional environment begins with the judge. If I am elected I plan on being that judge. Vote "Glover for Judge" on November 8th.

The Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K is to raise community awareness about people living with ostomies including urostomy, ileostomy and colostomy. This event was made possible by the Birmingham area WOC Nurses' Association.

This weekend I will not be campaigning. I am a member of the Alabama Army National Guard and have my weekend drill. Friends if you are in the Trussville area please visit the Three Earred Rabbit. I had a wonderful meal and excellent slice of strawberrry cake while attending the Republican Women of Trussville meeting. The Republican Women of Trussville are a great group of ladies and were very kind to allow me to speak at their gathering. Today I attended the Red Mountain Republican luncheon. The guest speaker, Attorney General Luther Strange, explained how his office has been marked by a strong emphasis on fighting public corruption. He has also been a leader in opposing costly over regulation and the expansion of the federal government at the expense of states. This election is extremely important for our nation and Jefferson County. District Attorney Brandon Falls was also present and spoke about the great work his office is doing for Jefferson County. Please support Brandon Falls for District Attorney and Glover for Judge on November 8th.

Thanks to the City of Fultondale for hosting today's Founder's Day Festival. There were lots of vendors and the car show was great! I enjoyed spending time with Teresa Hester, Jefferson County District Judge, Place 10 Candidate and Pat Thetford, the current Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge, Place 11.

I enjoyed participating in today's ride to support and bring awareness to CDKL5 a rare and devastating neurological disorder. Thank you Hamburger Heaven for the food and Gardendale Police for the protection during the ride. I hope those who participated had a safe and enjoyable ride.

Today was an eventful day. I attended the Elder Protection Conference in Jasper, Alabama. Thank you to Bill Adair, Walker County District Attorney, Steve Searcy, Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and Patricia Alexander, Jefferson County Sheriff's Department for speaking at this event. Elders are the #1 target for financial scams. Scam operators use four primary methods to target elders - the mail, the telephone, in-person and the Internet. Scam operators use high-pressure sale pitches, scare tactics, and false claims to deceive and take their money. During the 2013 legislative session, the Alabama Legislature passed an elder abuse bill, Act #2013-307, that strengthened the penalties for elder abuse, neglect and financial exploitation. I had a great day today. First I ran the "Just a Call Away 5K". At that event I enjoyed speaking to two of the Republican Candidates, Brandon Falls, Jefferson County District Attorney, and Riggs Walker, Candidate for District Court Judge, Place 4. Then I road 28 miles at the "Tour de Cure" for the American Diabetes Association. Kelly McCrary Glover was hard at work campaigning on my behalf while I was participating in the events. "Just a Call Away 5K" benefits Crisis Center which serves the unmet needs of people experiencing personal crisis or mental health issues and respond with services that promote coping, emotional health and well being. "Tour de Cure" benefits the American Diabetes Association and helps raise money to advance their mission to stop diabetes. This is my journey to becoming your Criminal Circuit Court Judge, Place 14, in Jefferson County.

I want to thank the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department for all the work they did on this case yesterday. The Sheriff's Office responded quickly and were able to locate the suspect with the help from the community. This is what makes Corner a special place to live.
