Our Middle School Wildcats have been working on an iReady Challenge for the past 4 weeks. Students reached different milestones by passing iReady math and reading lessons to earn Apple slices + toppings to make Apple Nachos! iReady prepares our students for the state ACAP test and the hard work of our students in this challenge will help raise their success. Thank you to Gardendale First Baptist Church for donating the yummy treats and serving our students today! We really appreciate you helping us reward our kids! 🍎 🍫

🌟 Class of 26 and 27 parents and students:

On Friday, November 15th, at 10:30, we will have the Academy of Craft Training representatives on campus to meet with any interested students.
Students must apply, then interview (in February) and be accepted in order to begin the program in the Fall of 2025.

The Academy offers programs in the following fields:
Electrical
HVAC
Interior and Exterior Finishes
Construction
Welding and Pipefitting

Students will be called to the meeting location after attendance is taken for 2nd period.

A big thanks to Shane Holliday of the Fultondale Fire Department for visiting Coach Franklin’s Advanced Anatomy Class today. The class has been studying the cardiovascular system and learning the electrical wave of the heart. Mr. Holliday brought equipment to the class to demonstrate a normal EKG, different abnormalities of the heart, and how paramedics determine heart emergencies in the field.
