This year’s theme, “Out of This World,” was the perfect way to celebrate our incredible FES teachers—because that’s exactly what you are! Your dedication, passion, and commitment to our students make a difference every single day. You inspire, encourage, and uplift our students in ways that truly matter.

We had an amazing week filled with special treats, fun surprises, and celebrations to show our appreciation. A huge thank you to our wonderful community partners who helped make this week so special for our staff.

Our teachers deserve to be celebrated not just during Teacher Appreciation Week, but every single day for the love and hard work they pour into our school and students. Thank you for all that you do for FES. You are truly out of this world! 🚀✨

Friday, our elementary students were part of something truly special. 💛

Our Black History Program honored the rich legacy of the Black Church — a cornerstone of faith, strength, leadership, education, activism, music, and community throughout history. Through powerful spoken word, joyful songs, heartfelt narration, and meaningful performances, our students celebrated a legacy that has shaped generations.

The Black Church has long been more than a place of worship. It has been a place of refuge, resilience, courage, and hope. It has nurtured leaders, inspired movements, and uplifted communities. Our students learned that history is not just something we read about — it is something we honor, respect, and carry forward.

We are so proud of our children for embracing awareness, showing respect, and celebrating culture with open hearts. Programs like this remind us that understanding history builds empathy, unity, and strength for the future.

Thank you to our families, staff, and students for making this evening meaningful and memorable. ❤️💫🐾

We are so thankful to all of our families who came out to support our Math and Literacy Night! Your presence made the evening so special and truly meaningful for our students.

On SRO Appreciation Day, we proudly recognize Officer Turner for the outstanding work she does at FES. She goes above and beyond daily to ensure our campus is safe, secure, and welcoming. More than just keeping us safe, she builds relationships with our students and serves as a positive role model. We are thankful for her heart, her service, and her unwavering commitment to our school family and Fultondale community. We love you Officer Turner!

💙 Thank You, Whataburger Fultondale & UAB Athletics! 💛

We are so thankful for our amazing community partners who helped make this day such a special experience for our students and staff at Fultondale Elementary School!

A huge THANK YOU to the incredible UAB cheerleaders, dance team, and football players for visiting our campus and reading to our third grade students. Our students were so engaged and excited to learn from such inspiring role models—what an unforgettable experience! 🐉📚🏈

We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to Whataburger Fultondale for providing a delicious lunch for our entire FES staff. Your generosity and support truly mean so much to us.
