🌧️ Monitoring Road Conditions in Montgomery County 🌧️

Our Emergency Management staff and Road Patrol deputies have been working with local and county DPW crews and the New York State Department of Transportation while keeping an eye on a few areas around the county where water has begun to collect along the edges of some roadways.

Staff are also monitoring river levels and staying in contact with the NYS Canal Authority and our partners at NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services. At this time, conditions are mainly causing minor travel inconveniences and there are no significant concerns.

As always, if you come across standing water on the roadway, slow down and avoid driving through it if possible. Even shallow water can create hazardous conditions.

We will continue to monitor things and will provide updates if conditions change.
