Funkstown Volunteer Fire Company Incorporated in 1934. The department responds to approx. 1600 calls for service. Fire and First Responder/EMT. One paid driver 0600-1600 during week.

Since June 2021 we have been supplemented staffing by the Department of Emergency Services.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of our community, we completely SOLD OUT of this month's BBQ. We are truly grateful to everyone who came out, placed orders, volunteered, shared our posts, and helped make this event such a success.
