Due to inclimate weather and danger of lightning, the Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Pantry closed today, 8/27/26 at 4:30 and will remain closed for the rest of the day.

As you may suppose, raising the full amount needed to pay cash for our own pantry building is ideal but unlikely. However, every donation gets us closer to that goal, and scheduled monthly donations give us a regular stream of income that can help us secure a loan for the remainder. Please consider scheduling a monthly donation on Zeffy (zero fees) for a year or two. Any amount you can spare, when combined with other donors, can help us with our credit so we can secure a loan for any remaining balance.

The Brighton Forest neighborhood held a food drive for our pantry, collecting and delivering around 400 pounds of goods. Laura is seen here dropping off the last of several loads delivered by neighbors.

Wonderful day Saturday, starting with a load of fresh produce from the Fuquay-Varina Growers Market. This was followed by the Knights of Columbus food drive. The Knights collected for two hours and had enough to split between Holly Springs Food Cupboard, St. Bernadette Food Pantry and the Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Pantry. We are blessed to live in a very generous community. Thank you.

Gentle reminder that the Knights of Columbus are having a summer food drive. They will be collecting donations in the parking lot of the Food Lion on Broad Street between 11 and 1 on Saturday, 7/25. Please stop by with a donation. Items needed include:
Salad dressing
Canned tuna
Canned chicken
BBQ sauce
Bar soap
Mac and Cheese
Noodles all kinds
Peanut butter
Cereals
Canned tomatoes

After needing to rent 2 pods and warehouse space for months, we now have everything in-house, supplies are low and our needs are growing.
