Just a reminder. We will be performing a flag retirement ceremony tonight at 7:00 at the North entrance. Please join us.

Once again, our Gackle American Legion Post 250 will be performing a brief Flag Retirement/Disposal Ceremony on Flag Day, this coming Sunday, June 14th at 7 PM. The ceremony will be held on the North side of the Legion Hall. Please bring a chair and watch, as we honor and dispose of the “out of service” flags that have been turned into our post for disposal. We hope to see you there.
The U.S. Army considers June 14,1775 as its Birthday. To my fellow veterans who served in the U.S. Army, Happy Birthday!
If you have flags that are ready for disposal, please use our drop-off container on the Southwest side of the Legion Hall.
If you need a quality 3’ x 5’ Flag, the American Legion in Gackle does have them for sale. They are quality polyester flags with embroidered stars, double stitched seams on the stripes and 4 rows of stitching on the outer edges, so they are very durable. Yes, they are made in the U.S. The cost per flag is $30 each. Contact Randy Entzminger (701-710-0900) if you would like to purchase one.
