IN MEMORY OF PAST NATIONAL COMMANDANT ROBERT “BOB” BECKER

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of Past National Commandant Robert “Bob” Becker, who passed away on July 4, 2026.

Bob served as National Commandant of the Marine Corps League from 1997 to 1999 and was also honored as a National Marine of the Year. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to Marines, veterans, and the Marine Corps League reflected a lifetime of faithful service.

Bob was a good man, a hard charger, and a respected leader who made a lasting impact on our League and all those who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Bob’s family, friends, fellow Marines, and the entire Marine Corps League family during this difficult time.

May his legacy of service and leadership continue to inspire future generations of Marines and League members.

Fair winds and following seas, Marine. Rest easy. Your mission is complete.

Had a pretty good turnout today at our fundraiser roadblock in Reece City.
Thanks to everyone who came out and stood in the sun all day and to the ones that kept the funds counted and totaled amd very special thanks to all who came through and donated.
