⚠️ URGENT: WIDESPREAD FLOODING & ROAD CONDITIONS ⚠️

Our area is currently experiencing significant flooding. We are asking all drivers to exercise extreme caution and avoid travel if possible.

If you must be on the roads, please remember:

Turn Around, Don't Drown: Never attempt to drive through standing water. It only takes a few inches of rapidly moving water to sweep a vehicle off the road.

Expect Hidden Hazards: Standing water can hide massive potholes, washed-out pavement, trees that have fallen, and dangerous debris.

Turn on Your Headlights: Help other drivers see you in heavy rain and low-visibility conditions.

Do Not Bypass Barriers: Road closure signs and barricades are put up for your safety. Do not drive around them.

Over the past several days, our four supervisors attended a 911 Supervisor Program where they worked diligently to strengthen their leadership abilities and learn the most current management practices in emergency communications. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and commitment to continuously improving their skills, and we greatly appreciate all they do for 911 operations and our community.
We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to our assistant supervisors for doing an outstanding job holding down the fort during their absence.
