Last week, Advantage EMS celebrated EMS Week with a bang! 🚑🎉 Our crews took part in a citywide scavenger hunt that wrapped up at our brand-new station. From helicopter landing zones to local hospitals, fire stations, and community landmarks, the day was filled with teamwork, laughter, and excitement for what’s ahead.

A huge thank you to all of our healthcare and community partners who helped make this such a success:

Everyone enjoyed tailgating and breakfast biscuits as we bid a fond farewell to our founding units and thanked them for their years of dedicated service to Advantage EMS and the communities we serve. We are also excited to welcome our new units into service as we continue our commitment to providing exceptional care.

Happy National Police Week! We are so thankful for our local sheriff departments!

This week is National Police Week!

Every day, the men and women of the Etowah County Sheriff's Office leave their families and head out into the unknown — ready to handle whatever this county needs. Car wrecks, domestic calls, mental health crises, dangerous felons. No two days look the same, and there are no guarantees when the shift starts.

They do it because they love this county.

Sheriff Horton wants Etowah County to know — you are served by some of the finest people around. This week, if you see one of our deputies out there, tell them thank you. It goes a long way.

Congratulations to McKenna Hale on passing her National Registry exam and earning her Advanced level licensure!
