Dear Friends & Partners,

The Council on Aging of Etowah County is currently navigating some changes and challenges as we reorganize and prepare for the future. During this transition, our office is not staffed on a regular basis.

If you have a current need or question that we may be able to help with, please reach out to the RSVP office at 256-549-8147.

We’re also happy to share that Medicare counseling through the SHIP program will continue to be available in Etowah County through the East Alabama Area Agency on Aging. As soon as their schedule and appointment availability are announced, we’ll be sure to share that information with you.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support as we work through this transition. We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to keeping you informed as we reorganize, grow, and continue serving our community!

Warmly,
Council on Aging of Etowah County

Thanks to all our wonderful sponsors and vendors, and a special thanks to the Etowah County Master Gardeners for donating the beautiful plants for our tables. Our meal was catered by Beans and Greens, and the guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was.
