River Hill families, come out on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, with a school-approved backpack & snack!

We are excited to help our students get ready for a wonderful new school year with a school-approved backpack, GGHA ESTEEM Program information, and well-wishes! ✏️🍎🎉

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: A limited number of backpacks will be available while supplies last for school-age River Hill Estates students in grades K–12 who are currently listed on a lease in the community. Backpacks will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

We have dedicated FREE transportation just for GGHA residents to attend Hughley Park Community Day! 🎉

⏰ 10:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.

Dedicated transportation will begin picking up residents at 9:45 a.m., with return transportation available until 2:00 p.m.

✅ Simply be at your community trolley stop and be ready for pickup BEFORE 9:45 a.m.!

Transportation provided by City of Gadsden Transportation Department is available for residents of:
Carver Village, Gateway Village, Emma Sansom Homes, Campbell Court, Starnes Park, Colley Homes, and River Hill Estates.

Bring the family and come enjoy a fun-filled day with your neighbors, sponsored by Church of the Highlands. Your ride is already handled, just meet us at the trolley stop! 🚌❤️

Community Action of Etowah County will be on-site to assist eligible GGHA residents with power bill assistance through the Regular Cooling and Crisis Cooling Programs.

Please bring your recent PRINTED power bill, household income information, Social Security cards for everyone in the household, photo ID, SNAP allotment letters, current signed lease, and any other required documents listed on the flyer.
