6:34PM Update: This is a broken pole, so restoration will take a while. Our crews are working diligently to make this repair.

We are aware of an outage affecting 125 customers around the Overbrook and Baker Blvd area. Our crews are responding.

Update (2:47pm): The online payment issues are now resolved.

Update: This issue has been resolved.

We are currently experiencing issues with our Payments Gateway, IVR, SmartHub, and Pay Now.

We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will provide further updates as soon as they are available.

2:24 pm Update: Service has been restored.

Crews are on site of a water main break at 630 Colonial Ave, Colonial Apartments (Gaffney Housing Authority). Beginning at 11am water will be shut off to make repairs. Customers will experience low to no water while repairs are being made. We will update this post as more information is available.

Learning Beyond the Counter

Just before Customer Service Appreciation Week, our Customer Service Representatives spent their day off learning more about the many people, departments and processes that work together behind the scenes to serve our customers.

Throughout the day, they visited our Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant, learned more about the work that goes into providing safe and reliable water and wastewater services, and participated in meter and electrical usage demonstrations to better understand how our systems work and how they impact our customers.

We are especially grateful for their willingness to give up a day off to learn, grow and better serve our customers. That commitment says a lot about the people who make up the BPW team.

A special thank you to everyone who took time out of their day to lead demonstrations, answer questions and share their knowledge. Your willingness to help our Customer Service team understand what happens beyond the customer service counter is a great example of working better together.

And to our Customer Service Representatives: Thank you for all you do every day for our customers and our community. We appreciate you! 🫶
