5:45PM- Services have been restored.

BPW crews are responding to a water main break caused by bridge construction on Macedonia Road.

During repairs, customers on Macedonia Road from the new bridge over Thickety Creek to Old Metal Road, including Gardner Road, may experience low water pressure or a temporary loss of water service.

We will work to restore service as quickly as possible. Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.

BPW is proud to provide sewer service to the Blacksburg area and support continued growth along the I-85 corridor.

Project Liberty is one of the first major developments to connect to the regional sewer infrastructure investment that now serves the entire corridor from Spartanburg County to the North Carolina state line. This transformative project helps position Cherokee County for continued economic development and job creation for years to come.

Congratulations to our partners at the Cherokee County Development Board, the Town of Blacksburg, and Cherokee County on this exciting announcement and for their continued commitment to moving our community forward.

Update 7:34pm: Repairs are complete and water has been restored.

Crews are responding to a water main break on Twin Lake Road. Customers on Twin Lake Road between Overbrook Drive and Midway Terrace may experience low to no water while repairs are being made. We will update when service is being restored.
