Today the GLHS book club was able to go to the Main Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library to see author John Green speak. All students were given a copy of one of one of his books and lunch. According to the students (and advisors), it was an EPIC day! Thank you Columbus Metropolitan Library,, John Green and sponsors! Extra thanks to Battelle, Donatos the Redgrave Family Foundation.

11 days of school left in 2022, so I get to share 11 more books. Today I am featuring Gleanings by Neal Shusterman. He is one of my very favorite authors!! This author knows how to build incredible worlds and stories. In this, his newest book, he brings us back to the world of his Scythe series for a collection of short stories set in this world. Such a fun read- especially if you don’t have much time. Short stories are great!!!

Stop by the library and learn more about this book!!!

GLHS- we have 12 school days in December and so let’s explore 12 brand new books that I brought back from my ALAN conference last week.

We shall start with an exciting one- Tracy Deonn’s brand new sequel to Legendborn. If you have read Legendborn, I am sure you are just as excited as I am to read this. If not- come and get book 1 AND 2! This book series has it all: action, adventure, Arthurian legend, magic, romance, secret societies and so much more!

Stop by and check it out for some winter break reading!
