If your are a certified EMR/ECA, EMT-B, AEMT (Intermediate) or Paramedic in Borden County and would like to serve your community by volunteering for the new county based EMS service under new leadership, please email Kodie Fairchild at [email protected]

The Borden County Commissioners voted to hire an EMS Director / Paramedic to get the EMS service back up and running for the residents of the county. BCEMS will be a volunteer service dependent on community support and participation.

The new director, Kodie Fairchild, is working hard with the Texas DSHS and the Medical Director to get the department’s Provider License issued and the service ready to go.

We would like to invite the community as well as anyone who is interested in volunteering to come out and meet Kodie and learn all about BCEMS. Even if you are not currently certified but have an interest in becoming and EMT or higher, you are encouraged to show up as their will be educational opportunities in the future.
