Jackson County has a lot to be proud of. Our men and women that served in the Military are receiving special recognition on this Memorial Day.

The Veterans Memorial Hall, part of the County Archives, will be open from 10am to 4pm. We’re beside the library in the historic “old county jail” at 104 short street.
Come view your friends and relatives.

The American Legion will be honoring our men and women that never made it home. They sacrificed their lives for you and your freedoms.

The VMH will be open before and after the American Legion service at 2 pm tomorrow on the square.
